I place an emphasis on providing a warm and caring approach
to working with individuals and families. I focus developing a relationship
with clients/ supervisee’s whereby they feel safe in sharing parts of their
past and secure in exploring how these past experiences impact on their current
difficulties.

Much of my clinical practice is in working with families,
which includes individuals and couples. The aim of family counselling is to
develop more effective ways to communicate thereby giving every member of the
family unit a voice. A great deal of focus within appointments is placed on
understanding and communicating emotions.
