Since 2011, the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists is a company established by the Australian Counselling Association and another peak body, the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), as an independent, national register of qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. ARCAP provides robust self-regulation of the profession, along with ACA and PACFA’s professional training standards, codes of ethics and complaints handling processes.
Providing quality service to clients, all practitioners listed on the ARCAP Register have:
