Hi I'm Laura.  I am an ACA registered counsellor and supervisor, and I specialize in working with men.

I have worked the last decade as a men’s specialist within
the areas of Domestic and Family Violence, Intimate partner violence, family
and relationships counselling, lecturing on men’s mental health and working with men, I developed programs, supervised and facilitated MBC group work, advocacy for men, EAP and disaster
management.

I am passionate about breaking down the barriers that impact men’s
mental health. I create a supportive environment for my clients to be truly
heard and understood without judgement or shame. I am empathy-led, and outcome
driven. Sessions are tailored to the clients’ own goals as every client is
unique. I believe in open and honest communication with no judgement, the focus
of practical tools and strategies, and being straightforward and breaking down the clinical jargon.
