Miranda holds both Masters and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Whilst residing in the USA, New Zealand and Australia, Miranda has worked as a leader, clinician and educator for over 25 years. As the Director of Therapy Services at Act for Kids - in Australia, she has national oversight across therapeutic programmes. Since the commencement of her career, Miranda has specialized in the area of interpersonal violence and trauma focused on clinical and professional best practice. This specialization has seen her work be instrumental in the design and application of interventions across varied geographical and societal contexts. While living in New Zealand, Miranda was accredited by the New Zealand Family Court to work with perpetrators of family violence. Since moving to Australia, Miranda has focused her work on the impact of sexual abuse and trauma on children. Her continued specialization has seen her focus her work on actively addressing the impact of pornography and online sexual imagery on the sexual development of children.
