I am currently working as an Aboriginal Famly Practitioner in Penrith NSW offering therapeutic casework. I am also doing work experience in a Men's Behaviour Change program. I have Gadigal, Gamillaroi, Irish and English heritage. I have 26+ years experience in the Penrith community working with children and families doing casework, community development, early intervention, supported playgroup, groupwork, counselling, and family therapy. I have trained in the following therapeutic modalities - art therapy (160 hours), child-centered play therapy, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), the Richards trauma process (TRTP), trauma informed stabilisation treatment (TIST), functional family therapy (FFT), dyadic developmental psychotherapy, level 1 (DDP).
Qualifications
• Cert IV of Pastoral Care
• Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Education
• Graduate Diploma of Counselling
• Masters of Child & Adolescent Mental Health
