Ryan (they/him) is a compassionate and inclusive registered counsellor and sex therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges. With a Master of Counselling (Monash) and a Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) specialising in Psychosexual Therapy (USyd), Ryan provides a holistic and person-centred approach to mental health and wellbeing. Ryan works collaboratively with clients to explore their concerns, uncover their strengths, and build resilience, ensuring that every individual feels seen, heard, and valued.
Ryan supports clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and significant life transitions. With a warm and empathetic approach, Ryan helps clients develop practical coping strategies, foster self-awareness, and create meaningful change in their lives. A proud advocate for LGBTIQA+SB communities, Ryan is committed to providing affirming, inclusive support that celebrates diversity and ensures clients feel safe and understood.
In addition to general counselling, Ryan offers guidance in the area of sex therapy, supporting clients in exploring issues related to intimacy, relationships, sexuality, and sexual health. Ryan is a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS) and the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH).
Ryan’s practice is deeply grounded in values of respect, connection, and empowerment, helping individuals and couples build stronger relationships with themselves and others.
