Sally Ames is a qualified counsellor with additional drug and alcohol counselling training. She has been in a busy and successful private practice for more than 15 years. Sally is a compassionate and non-judgemental practitioner with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
Sally has also worked in a range of other careers prior to training as a counsellor. Her wider work and world experience gives her a large pool of knowledge to draw from when working with people from different backgrounds and within a wide range of issues.
Sally’s personal style is accepting, engaging and compassionate and she rapidly builds rapport with her clients to provide a safe and confidential space in which they can address their issues. Sally works within an integrative counselling perspective that designs interventions from a person centred and solution focused approach to support her clients to develop solutions and find balance.
