I’m Sarah Hampton – Founding Director of Autism Consultancy Services (ACS) and I am passionate about creating neuroaffirming environments where all children and young people can be themselves and thrive.
I'm neurodivergent myself (ADHD and Dyslexic) and with more than 15 years of experience as an autism consultant, teacher, trainer, psychotherapist, and counsellor, my work is rooted in both lived experience and professional training, allowing me to connect deeply with the neurodivergent children and families I support. I studied Psychology at the University of Lincoln in the UK, specialising in intellectual disabilities and literacy for individuals with autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Education, with a focus on disability and curriculum accessibility through literacy programs. More recently, I have become a qualified psychotherapist, specialising in Trauma-Informed Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy.
Throughout my career, I’ve been privileged to support hundreds of neurodivergent children, working 1:1 and in group settings. Also as an advocate, helping their families navigate the education system to ensure the school environment is optimal for their learning, development, and most importantly, their happiness.
At ACS, we believe in neuroaffirming practices that recognise and celebrate each child’s unique neurotype. Our vision is simple: to help create environments where autistic and neurodivergent children can feel safe, confident, and capable ... just as they are.
