Sharee Anne Clarke – Registered Counsellor (ACA
Certified)
Master of Counselling | Trauma-Informed Practitioner | Group Facilitator
I am a compassionate, experienced, and client-focused
Registered Counsellor, holding a Master of Counselling and certification with
the Australian Counselling Association. I bring many years of counselling
experience, underpinned by a strong background in trauma-informed practice,
domestic violence recovery, and adolescent wellbeing. I provide a safe,
inclusive, and respectful space for clients to explore their emotions, unpack
their experiences, and build the internal resources needed for long-term
healing and growth.
My work is grounded in person-centred and trauma-informed
values. I believe that each client is the expert in their own life and deserves
to be heard, seen, and supported without judgment. I have lived experience that
informs my professional practice, particularly in working with women, teens, and
families navigating trauma, identity concerns, and relationship breakdown. This
personal understanding enhances my ability to connect deeply with clients,
offering empathy and insight that is both informed and authentic.
Over the years, I have supported clients through a broad
range of challenges, including anxiety, emotional dysregulation, grief, family
conflict, anorexia, self-harm, depression, substance use, and the effects of
intergenerational trauma. I also work with adolescents who may be disengaged
from education or struggling with peer pressure, social identity, and risky
behaviours. I create a safe therapeutic relationship that promotes
self-reflection, emotional regulation, and hope.
I work with individuals, families, and groups both in-person
and via telehealth, and I facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational
workshops focused on emotional well-being, trauma recovery, parenting, and
self-esteem.
