Sue is the principal counsellor at Lindaris Counselling and has over 20 years’ experience working in various counselling roles utilising a variety of therapeutic modalities. She aims to provide a counselling service that supports growth and wellbeing, working collaboratively with individuals, couples and families to identify needs and develop tailor-made counselling plans, drawing on client strengths and inner resources to achieve positive outcomes. Sue worked as a generalist counsellor, before specialising as a sexual assault counsellor and later as a drug and alcohol counsellor. For the past 10 years she has focused on family relationship and couple counselling, coaching individuals, couples and families in effective communication, supporting reconciliation and enhancing relationships, as well as providing support during separation, divorce and relationship breakdown. Parenting, step parenting and post-separation parenting have also been a feature of her counselling work. Sue has a Diploma in Community Services, a Diploma in Counselling and specialist training in couple therapy.
