Hello! I’m Yi, originally from Malaysia. As an ACA Level 2 Registered Counsellor, I have a genuine passion for supporting both young people and older adults as they navigate trauma, grief, and mental health challenges. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, client-centred, and culturally responsive care, and I integrate evidence-based therapies—such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—to meet your unique needs.
Drawing on my experience in university-based counselling, special education, and community support services, I strive to create a warm, safe, and empowering space for my clients. I understand that reaching out for help is a courageous first step, and I’m here to support you. With the complexity of life’s challenges, sometimes you just need a safe place to vent and begin to understand where to start. This is a space where we can work together to identify your needs and develop a plan for your well-being.
I currently offer online sessions. If you have any questions or would like to book a session, please email me at counselloryeeyi@gmail.com. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you every step of the way.
