Presenter Qualifications:

Professor Dr. Dieter Kotte, PhD Susan Joachim, MBA

Professor Dr. Dieter Kotte is INFTA’s Secretary and International Strategic Advisor. Dr. Kotte is also the Chief Editor of the International Handbook of Forest Therapy and developed the International Core Curriculum of Forest Therapy (ICCFT) as the global standard for Forest Therapy as a Public health practice. Susan Joachim is the President of the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA), Forest Therapist, Mentor and Forest Medicine Practitioner. She has trained with Dr. Qing Li in Japan and Professor Won Sop Shin in South Korea. She holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and continues her own CPD with the international research community. Susan brings her passion for hiking, nature connection, adult education, and lifelong learning to the course. She is also passionate about connecting people to the forest and mentoring guides through their practicum. Both presenters train and mentor guides all over the world – and have been doing so since 2018.
