Master of Counselling
The ACCS Master of Counselling is a two-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) degree taught from a Christian worldview, integrating faith throughout the curriculum. It offers two entry streams: Counselling Practitioner Stream – For those with an undergraduate degree. This stream develops strong theoretical and practical counselling skills through coursework, experiential learning, and mentoring. Includes 100 hours of placement and 25 hours of supervision in the second year. Advanced Professional Counsellor Stream – For those with a Bachelor of Counselling or equivalent. Diploma of Narrative Approaches for Aboriginal People
The 11227NAT Diploma of Narrative Approaches for Aboriginal People (Counselling, Group and Community Work) is offered by the People Development Unit at Nunkuwarrin Yunti in Adelaide.  The Diploma was developed in consultation with Aboriginal people throughout South Australia, and with counsellors who work with Aboriginal people. The course was designed by Aboriginal people for Aboriginal people and was first accredited in 2002 and has been updated and reaccredited twice since. The most recent reaccreditation occurred in 2023 and incorporates new units of competency to continue to meet the needs of the workforce.  Further to the growth and development of the Diploma, the course has recently become accredited with the Australian Counselling Association so the students will be eligible to become a registered counsellor on completion of the course.
