As the Director of Connect.Ed, she leads a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, working collaboratively to provide outreach-based support for children and families.
Kerra-Lee’s career has been shaped by extensive experience in child protection, giving her a deep understanding of the complex needs of vulnerable children and the systems that support them. She has worked across various settings, including non-government and private sectors, and is committed to bridging gaps in service delivery through innovative, trauma-responsive approaches.
Her expertise extends beyond direct therapeutic practice; she is a strong advocate for trauma-informed education and professional development. Kerra-Lee facilitates both group and individual supervision, supporting child protection and allied health professionals in navigating the complexities of their roles while maintaining professional resilience. A key focus of her work is vicarious trauma, ensuring that those working with vulnerable populations have the tools and strategies to protect their own wellbeing.
Kerra-Lee has a strong background in therapeutic approaches, having completed multiple post-graduate qualifications in trauma, child development, and play-based interventions.
