You’re invited to participate in a new research project! The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health, and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University is running a study with Thorne Harbour Health, looking at how LGBTQ+ people understand the impact of their alcohol and/or other drug use. If you:
We want to talk to you! You’ll be interviewed about your experiences of working with LGBTQ+ people experiencing impactful alcohol and/or other drug use. This will take 35-50 minutes of your time. Register your interestLGBTQ+ people experience more problems with alcohol and/or other drug use, but often don’t use available support services. This project aims to explore the how LGBTQ+ individuals recognise their problems with substance use. We’ll use these findings to support other LGBTQ+ individuals in recognising when alcohol and/or other drug use has impacted their lives. For more information, you can visit the project website.
