Phoenix Therapy and Wellbeing – Cheyanne Girvan (Level 2 ACA Registered Counsellor)
Canberra | Telehealth Australia-wide
I’m a registered counsellor offering support for adolescents (12+), young adults, and adults working through anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and stress. My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I bring a background in high-performance sport and coaching, which gives me insight into the mental load faced by athletes, high achievers, and young people under pressure. I understand what it’s like to operate at full tilt—and what it takes to slow down, recalibrate, and find your footing again.
Therapy with me is collaborative and down-to-earth. I focus on creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and supported to make meaningful change. Whether someone needs strategies to manage anxiety, space to work through trauma, or help navigating stress, sessions are tailored to their goals and values.
Face-to-face sessions are available in the quiet suburb of Hall at Bruce Sports Medicine on Thursday afternoon and evenings, and Fridays. Secure Telehealth sessions are available throughout the week. Availability is up to date via the bookings page on the website. If you're struggling to find availability which suits you, please email hello@phoenixtherapy.com.au and I'll work with you to try and accommodate a session time.
