I am a psychotherapist providing online and face-to-face counselling at my Brighton clinic in Melbourne. I also facilitate individual and group supervision for counsellors several times each month.
My practice is person-centred and grounded in creating a non-judgemental, supportive environment where clients and supervisees feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered. After living and working in Asia for over twenty years—as a special education teacher and later in private practice as a psychotherapist—I have returned to Melbourne, bringing a broad, culturally informed perspective.
In my clinical work, I support neurodiverse children and adults, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Bipolar Disorder, and related conditions. I draw on a neurodiversity-affirming therapy approach that embraces and values individual differences, integrating cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to help address specific symptoms and support behavioural and emotional regulation.
As an art therapist, I incorporate experiential modalities such as movement, music, and visual arts, offering clients alternative ways to process emotions, develop self-awareness, and enhance emotional well-being—particularly beneficial for those who find verbal expression difficult.
