Elysia is a registered counsellor who provides a warm, relaxed and collaborative space for holistic healing and growth. Elysia’s area's of focus include: grief/loss and bereavement, body image issues, chronic health conditions, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress and adjustment challenges, neurodiversity and more. Elysia is passionate about promoting holistic health, and has a keen interest in the intersection between nutrition, lifestyle and mental health.
Elysia believes the key to successful therapy is the strength of the relationship between client and therapist. Elysia utilises evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, creative and somatic psychotherapies, internal family systems therapy (IFS), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Elysia completed her Master of Counselling from Edith Cowan University, and holds additional training in Gestalt psychotherapy. Elysia has worked in varied mental health roles in WA universities and non-profit organisations, and has experience working across multi-cultural and religious contexts. Elysia currently offers telehealth (online and phone) appointments for individuals aged 18+.
