Currently, I am a Clinical Counsellor working within the school sector. I also work privately. Previous to working in schools I worked at Mornington Peninsula Family Violence Service supporting women and their children who were victims of family violence. Attached to the service was a womans refuge which supported woman and children who had fled their homes seeking safety in the refuge. With fifteen years experience working with individuals and families, I support clients in crisis but also clients who recognise that they need therapeutic support to make changes to help heal and strengthen self and relationships.I use a range of therapeutic approaches, depending on the issues brought forward through the counselling process. Specific modalities are CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy and Positive Psychology.
