My diverse experience across various fields enables me to connect deeply with clients who are navigating periods of change, uncertainty, and vulnerability. I understand that these moments can be overwhelming and isolating, and I am committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, gain clarity, and find your way forward.
I believe in a holistic approach to counseling, one that takes into account the entire person and their unique set of circumstances. My approach is professional yet relaxed, centered on collaboration and the belief that you are the expert in your own life. By using a non-judgmental approach and drawing on my lived experiences, I help you develop your strengths based on your unique needs.
Together, we will work to develop a personalized well-being plan that reflects your goals and preferences. This process promotes self-determination, increased self-esteem, goal attainment, and improved happiness. I employ evidence-informed interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring them to your individual needs to enhance your emotional and mental well-being.
While I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, I am particularly passionate about supporting women who find themselves at cross roads in their lives. As a mature woman with significant lived experience, I understand the unique challenges that women face as they juggle multiple roles throughout life. Whether you’re finishing school, pursuing a career, navigating the demands of parenting, dealing with the complexities of menopause, or balancing work, children, and aging parents, I’m here to support you.
I believe that age should never be a barrier to achieving your dreams. Instead, a healthy mind and body can create the positive energy needed to propel meaningful, fulfilling, and joyful life changes. This is the passion that drives my work as a counselor.
