Welcome! I'm Matt Vincent, a professional counsellor and therapist with over decade of experience with in various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Queensland.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in diverse settings. I have been involved with Triple P International for several years, collaborating with numerous organizations that offer Anger/ Behaviour Change programs. Additionally, I have supported new mental health counselling services and worked as a counsellor for a domestic violence organisation. Worked with Wellways supporting carers with Carer Gateway Queensland.
My areas of expertise encompass individual counselling, relationship counselling, marriage counselling, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and mental health. As a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association, I hold the highest membership, level 4. My qualifications are a post-graduate diploma in Psychology, a bachelor's degree in counselling, a diploma in Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Notably, I have significant experience in couples counselling, as well as providing guidance in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss.
I approach counselling with a non-judgmental mindset to create a warm, stress-free, and safe space for your therapeutic journey. Together, we will collaboratively develop a tailored plan that addresses your specific needs.
