Natalie Cohen (M.A.C.A Level 2) is a mature, qualified counsellor registered
with the Australian Counselling Association and is committed to assisting
people as they navigate the challenges of life.
Natallie works face to face and via telehealth.Natalie adopts a kind, client-centered style that is influenced by her extensive
experience and uses a range of techniques to help, inspire, inform, and empower
her clients. Natalie is a neurodiversity affirming counsellor and ally who
works regularly with people with ADHD and autism to validate and support their
experience, especially with people who have been diagnosed in adulthood.
In your sessions you may work to improve awareness,
communication, personal growth, acceptance and repair in both yourself, your
relationships and your environment.
As you improve awareness, authenticity, purpose, self-care
and mindfulness, you will also examine your prior experiences, assess your
present strengths, habits, and coping mechanisms, and contemplate your choices
when moving into the future.
Natalie works with individual clients who are dealing with
themes such as; stress, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, autism, LGBTQIA+ experiences,
grief and loss, parenting, anger, self-esteem, career challenges, depression,
abandonment, attachment issues, communication issues, family dynamics, gender
dysphoria, guilt and shame, life purpose, relationship issues, sexual assault
and abuse and trauma.
