I have more than 20 years of professional experience counselling and supporting individuals, couples, and families. Through my work in private practice, as well as community-based work in schools, hospitals, care facilities, youth centres, and crisis refuges, I have encountered and worked successfully with clients navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, ADHD, school refusal, addiction, relationship challenges, life-threatening illness, grief, loss, and complex trauma. I have also assisted executives in managing the challenges of leadership. In my most recent role, I provided therapy to children and teenagers in more than 15 schools, while equipping parents and carers with strategies to navigate their children’s emotional and mental health needs.
I believe that establishing a strong relational connection with my clients is the key to successful therapy. In my practice, a combination of knowledge, compassion, warmth, and presence, has enabled clients to articulate and understand their deepest emotions. I aim to provide you with a safe and confidential environment where you can explore what matters to you while feeling heard and validated. I personalise my approach for each client, helping you to find healing, discover resilience, and feel more empowered.
