Samantha G Long
Samantha worked in the banking and telecommunication
industries for over 25 years where she developed a passion for face-to-face
customer service and discovered she had a heart for people in extra need. Since
then, Samantha has completed studies to become a qualified Counsellor /
Psychotherapist and Mindset Coach. In addition to this Samantha has completed a
Cert IV in Mental Health Gambling, is a qualified facilitator of the
Prepare/Enrich relationship program as well as working as an EAP counsellor for
BetSafe Pty Ltd, and currently works as a Helpline operator for Parents Beyond
Breakup. Samantha continues to study to keep in touch with the latest
developments including regular courses with the Mental Health Academy,
Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, and Australian Counselling
Association.
Samantha strongly believes a healthy mind leads to a healthy
body and that there is great value in the therapeutic relationship between a
counsellor and their client.
Samantha uses evidence-based and solution-focused methods to
help you achieve positive outcomes.
Samantha will work together with you to find an approach
that works just for you. Samantha is very happy to see you face to face or via
video link across the internet or by phone. These options may suit those who
are geographically challenged or time-poor, who cannot get time off work or
find a babysitter, or who just can’t leave the house. These alternatives
provide access to counselling and coaching help when you need it the most and
from the comfort of your own home or office.
Samantha has helped many others in their personal challenges
and she would be very happy to hear from you whatever age or stage in life you
are.
