Research Opportunity: Experiences and Views of Service Providers Who Have Assisted First Nations Males Who Are Victims of Female-Perpetrated Intimate Partner Violence

To date, there is no known research focused on understanding First Nations male survivors of female-perpetrated intimate partner violence, and those who work with them. Our research aims to address this gap by gathering insights from professionals and lay helpers alike who have assisted clients in this situation.

The goal of this research is to better understand the challenges and successes faced by the men who have survived female-perpetrated intimate partner violence and the service providers who have helped them. The project has been approved by UniSQ Human Ethics Research Committee (ETH2024-0812)

Who can take part?

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are a service provider (e.g. counsellor, psychologist, community supporter, etc.)
