Coercive control, including gaslighting, is a powerful and often misunderstood form of emotional abuse that causes individuals to question their reality, memory, or sanity. Many people are not fully aware of how these manipulative tactics affect them. This workshop is designed to help therapists recognize the signs of coercive control and gaslighting, understand their psychological effects, and develop strategies to support clients in reclaiming their sense of self. With a focus on equipping clients with tools to heal from this subtle yet damaging abuse, you’ll learn how to create a safe, supportive environment for recovery.
