Dr Leon W. Cowen

Dr Leon W. Cowen has practiced as a Clinical Hypnotherapist for over 40 years and is acknowledged as a leader in the profession. He presents at conferences and lectures at various universities, hospitals and conferences on specialist hypnotherapy techniques and applications within counselling and psychotherapy. Leon is WorkCover accredited a member of many professional associations such as Australian Counselling Association, Australian Hypnotherapist Association, the Australian Integrative Medicine Association, Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association and the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia. He has served as the chair of the Hypnotherapy Council of Australia Educational Advisory Board and is completing a PhD with the University of Western Sydney by conducting research in professional standards for clinical hypnotherapy.
