Since February 2022, WorkSafe Victoria has recognised select ACA registered counsellors in Victoria as eligible to provide counselling services to injured workers.
As of 23 July 2024, WorkSafe Victoria has expanded its eligibility requirements to include all ACA Level 3 and 4 counsellors. This update means that more of our members can now provide valuable services to injured workers through WorkSafe Victoria.
ACA is proud to share this opportunity, expanding the scope of professional services available to our members.
Updated Eligibility
Previously, only ACA Level 3 and 4 counsellors with a Bachelor or Master of Counselling were eligible to register with WorkSafe Victoria. With this new change, all ACA Level 3 and 4 counsellors can now register, significantly broadening the professional opportunities available to our members.
Registration Process
If you meet the eligibility criteria, follow these steps to register:
- Complete the WorkSafe Application for Registration to Provide Services to Workers form: Application Form
- Provide evidence of your current ACA membership at Level 3 or 4.
Once registered, your registration will be valid for three years. To continue your registration after this period, you must provide evidence of your current ACA Level 3 or 4 registration every three years.
As part of this registration process, you will be issued a WorkSafe provider number for invoicing purposes.
