I am known as Mark.
I hold a Master of Counselling and am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association.
My role is to create conditions where people can understand themselves more clearly and make choices that feel right for them.
My approach with clients is grounded in a person-centred philosophy that values empathy, kindness, genuineness and acceptance without judgement. I hold the belief that each person has the capacity to discover their own truth when connected to a counsellor they can truly trust.
My experience working in a youth residential detox unit has reinforced my belief that when people feel genuinely heard and understood, they are able to access great clarity within their world. My work is trauma-informed and inclusive of LGBTQIA+ communities.
I offer sessions online and in person.
