I am a counsellor and clinical supervisor with a private practice in Girrawheen, which I established in 2020. My work focuses on supporting individuals navigating life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, personal growth, relocation, starting a new job, or coping with loss. I also specialise in relationship counselling, supporting both individuals and couples to explore relational patterns, resolve conflict, and build more secure and fulfilling connections.
I have several years of experience working in mental health and hold qualifications, including a Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and trauma-informed frameworks. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), which I use to support clients in processing distressing or unresolved experiences that continue to impact emotional wellbeing in the present.
Alongside my core modalities, I continue to develop my practice through ongoing training and supervision, including the integration of Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). This allows me to work with both intrapersonal and relational dynamics in a way that is grounded, flexible, and responsive.
In addition to counselling, I provide clinical supervision to other counsellors, supporting their professional development and reflective practice. This role allows me to contribute to the profession by sharing my experience, encouraging ethical practice, and supporting clinicians in developing their own therapeutic voice.
I believe in the importance of reframing self-narratives, cultivating self-compassion, and supporting clients to develop greater self-acceptance. My work is collaborative and respectful, focused on helping people clarify their goals, explore possibilities, and develop practical strategies for meaningful and sustainable change. While I bring experience in life transitions, trauma, grief, youth-related challenges, and relationship dynamics, I see myself as a fellow traveller, walking alongside clients with curiosity, openness, and care.
Outside of my professional work, I find balance and meaning in my roles as a mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Counselling is not only my profession but an ongoing journey of learning, connection, and growth.
