At Insight Centre Counselling we are passionate about supporting individuals and couples. We believe that true
healing begins with understanding, not just of the challenges we face today,
but of the deeper layers that shape who we are. The word insight is
at the heart of our work, guiding a process of self-discovery that honours your
unique cultural background, personal history, and lived experiences.
Our approach is gentle, culturally attuned, and grounded in
the belief that healing looks different for everyone. Whether you're navigating
relationship difficulties, anxiety, past trauma, grief, or internal conflict,
we're here to support you.
We recognise that our early relationships, especially those formed
in childhood and family life can have a lasting imprint on us. This imprint can impact how we relate to
others, how we parent, and how we speak to ourselves.
Insight is an important first step, but we cannot heal with insight
alone. Our therapy approach integrates compassionate evidence- based therapy
with current neuroscience that aims to help you feel better long term. Our therapies
include memory reconsolidation, inner child healing, parts work, and experiential
techniques. In therapy sessions, we draw on an understanding of how the brain
and nervous system shape our experiences and support recovery.
We also understand that grief and loss take many
forms, not only through bereavement, but also through life transitions,
fractured relationships, or the loss of identity, safety, or belonging. These
experiences can deeply influence how we show up in the world and how we make
meaning of our lives. We provide a compassionate space to explore the pain of
loss, while honouring the love and connection that may still live within it.
Through insight and exploration, we help you make sense of
your story, not to dwell in the past, but to empower your present and future. You don’t have to stay stuck in old cycles. Change is possible, and it starts with insight, compassion, and support.
