Hello and Welcome!!
I am an ACA-registered counsellor, Clinical and Group Supervisor, Lecturer, and mental health advocate with a strong commitment to supporting people on their journey toward healing and growth.
I bring a person-centered and compassionate approach to every therapeutic relationship, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard, supported, and empowered. My practice is grounded in evidence-based techniques, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, Strengths-Based approaches, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Currently, I work as a lecturer in counselling, teaching Diploma, Bachelor, and Masters-level programs. I am passionate about supporting and mentoring students as they develop their skills and confidence, preparing them for meaningful careers in the helping profession.
Over the years, I have worked in a variety of clinical and corporate settings, providing individual counselling, facilitating group workshops, and delivering both clinical and group supervision to help other professionals grow and thrive. Whether working with individuals or groups, in person or online, my focus is always on fostering self-awareness, resilience, and positive change.
In today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world, I strive to create spaces where people can pause, reflect, and explore their challenges with clarity and confidence. For me, counselling, supervision, and teaching are not just professions but callings - an opportunities to nurture hope, guide transformation, and help others reconnect with their own strengths and potential.
I also bring a unique perspective through my background in genetic counselling, offering informed and empathetic support to individuals and families navigating genetic information when it becomes relevant to their journey.
My educational background includes a Master of Counselling from the University of Queensland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling, and a Bachelor of Technology in Genetic Engineering. This diverse foundation enables me to bring a holistic and informed perspective to both mental health and professional development.
Whether you are looking for personal support, professional supervision, academic guidance, or help navigating life’s complexities, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
