Congruence Counselling
Profile
I am a registered counsellor and logotherapist with an enduring interest in growth, insight and connection. If you often find yourself overwhelmed and needing to withdraw to manage your emotions, struggling to make decisions or enforce boundaries, are uncertain how to cope with your challenges, then the right therapy can be an effective way to regain optimism and resilience and to feel empowered. My aim is for you to finish your sessions feeling engaged, stimulated and hopeful. I provide my clients full presence and engagement, with no judgement, with empathy, and with an invitation for introspection and meaningful contemplation.
I'm particularly interested in questions of meaning and purpose, anxiety, emotional-overwhelm, value-conflicts, and existential concerns. I also have an interest in loneliness, shame, and relationship tension. Through Socratic dialogue, metaphors, humour, and analogies, I provide clients tools and perspectives for authenticity, insight, and confidence.
Connection, deep listening, and rapport come naturally to me. I encourage you, as part of your personal journey, to get in touch and find a sense of engagement and inspiration right from the start. Please note: I currently only provide individual therapy (not couples or family therapy) focussing on adults.
